Joel is well-known in the wildlife and gardening community, being recognised on programmes such as Springwatch, Gardener’s World and Wild Animal Rescue for Channel 5 has recently appeared as a Friend of the Show on Channel 4’s The Steph Show.
One of the highlights of Joel’s career has been interviewing Sir David Attenborough for Butterfly Conservation for the start of the Big Butterfly Count.
This sits alongside other interviews including Alan Titchmarsh regarding the benefits of gardening for wildlife, interviewing Chris Packham for the “Back From the Brink” project where the Chequered Skipper was reintroduced to Rockingham Forest, amongst other interviews with familiar faces.
After being invited to Highgrove House to meet HRH Prince of Wales, via Plantlife’s 30th birthday celebrations, HRH spoke with Joel about the benefits of wildflower meadows and was asked to return to Highgrove to assess the floral diversity of the meadows and see if they can be improved. Joel is looking forward to working with HRH.
